You’re invited to an evening where western culture and southern warmth come together—part celebration, part revival. A night made for “Peaceblazers.”
Peaceblazer (n.): Someone who leads with courage, steadiness, and compassion—lighting paths of peace wherever they go.
Join the City Ranch Inc. family as we honor 18 years of impact and the youth, families, veterans, and first responders who’ve found healing and confidence through horseback riding. City Ranch is more than a ranch—it’s a refuge where people rediscover peace one connection at a time.
This isn’t just a gala.
It’s a call to gather, recommit, and build the next chapter together.
We’re raising $3 million to restore and expand City Ranch—revitalizing core barns, classrooms, and herd spaces, upgrading essential equipment, and building a covered arena so no child ever misses the experience.
This gala isn’t just another event; it’s a chance to rewrite what’s possible for Baltimore, for our young people, and for the future of equine-assisted growth. With our own, Mayor Brandon Scott being a great representation of peace during such turbulent times, alongside Governor Wes Moore’s recent signage of the executive order, “establishing a new strategic plan for the state’s horse industry,” we cannot help but feel this is divine timing.
“Maryland’s horse industry is a powerful symbol of the state’s heritage, agriculture, and economic vitality,” said Gov. Moore. “This strategic plan will bring together all facets of the equine community to ensure the industry continues to thrive for generations to come.”

With Governor Moore “formally establishing the Maryland Horse Industry Strategic Plan to guide the future of Maryland’s $2.9 billion equine sector. The initiative marks a historic step toward unifying the state’s diverse horse community under a single, coordinated vision for growth, sustainability, and collaboration.” (Winnick, 2025) It also serves as divine confirmation that the time to build City Ranch, Inc. is NOW!

Our summer camps offer a fun-filled adventure where children can learn riding skills, horse care, and participate in various equestrian activities. These camps are designed to create lasting memories and foster a love for horses.
Our therapeutic riding program is designed for individuals with physical, emotional, or cognitive challenges. Participants gain physical strength, emotional balance, and increased confidence through structured riding sessions.
We collaborate with local schools to offer educational programs that integrate horseback riding with academic learning. These programs are tailored to meet educational standards while providing a unique hands-on experience.

Director, FounderEmma’s Journey: Emma, a young girl with cerebral palsy, joined our therapeutic riding program three years ago. Initially hesitant and shy, Emma now rides with confidence and has seen significant improvements in her physical strength and balance. Her parents are amazed at her progress and credit the supportive environment and dedicated staff at City Ranch INC. for her development.
Sophia’s Achievement: Sophia, an elementary school student, participated in our school program. She had difficulty focusing in the classroom but discovered a newfound enthusiasm for learning through her interactions with horses. Sophia’s grades improved, and she became more engaged in her studies. Her school credits the program for helping her find her passion and motivating her to excel.
John’s Transformation: John, a teenager struggling with anxiety and depression, found solace in our horseback riding sessions. Through his time with us, John has developed a strong bond with his horse and gained a sense of purpose and responsibility. His teachers and family have noticed a marked improvement in his mood and social interactions, thanks to his experiences at the ranch.
James’ New Passion: James, an adult with no prior riding experience, decided to try our city polo program. He quickly fell in love with the sport and became an active participant. James now volunteers at the ranch and is an advocate for our programs, sharing his positive experiences and encouraging others to join.
